IRS announces Economic Stimulus payment schedules
For those of you who are expecting to receive an Economic Stimulus rebate check, below you will find the schedule for expected payments dates. However, please know that you may not be part of the group of taxpayers belonging to this list. Unless your tax return was processed by April 15, 2008 you will be in a future grouping of payments. This is a strikingly different set of circumstances than you may have originally thought, but it makes sense. If you are a “deadline filer” (meaning that you wait until April 15 every year to mail your tax return) you need to wait until the next round of rebate payents are scheduled and announced to find out when you will recieve yours.
