Happy New Year: Looking Back On The Year That Was
There are only a few hours left in 2008, and to be blunt I couldn’t be happier that the year is coming to an end. The past year had it’s ups and downs for me personally and professionally, and as I started reflecting on the past 364 days I realized that it is probably best to do so briefly, then concentrate on looking towards the future.
In the past year the stock market has tanked, banks and brokerage houses have gone belly up, the Fed has slashed interest rates, American automakers reached the edge of extinction, and the housing market collapsed. On the other hand, gas prices plunged, real estate taxes had gone down in my area, credit card reform started, the first African American President was elected, and mortgage rates are dropping. What will happen next is anybody’s guess.
My plan for the upcoming year is in a constant state of flux. I plan on taking things day by day and adjusting my goals on a continuing basis. What I know I will be doing is:
- Continuing to market and grow both my company GreenBridge Advisors, and Let’s Blog Money
- Continuing to invest in my future by maxing out my Roth IRA and making regular contributions to my taxable investment account as well as my regular savings account
- Starting to push forward with my education by signing up for the CFP certification program as well as taking courses toward my MBA
- Improving my relationships with both friends and family since they are what matter above all else
I would list some links to interesting blog posts I have read throughout the year, but to be honest the blogs that I follow on a daily basis have way too many updates which I have found both informative as well as entertaining. Rather, I have updated my blogroll to share my own favorites with all those who happen to come across my blog in the hope that they, too will become fans.
Simply, I would just like to wish everyone out there a wonderful, healthy and prosperous new year! be cymbalta will approved

Year 2008 is such a horrifying in the history of stock market. Every stock exchange has become a victim of it. I believe 2009 would bring lot of joys to investor.
